Once the preseason ends, practice fields may be reserved on a week-to-week basis, using the MindBody reservation tool. You are allowed one reservation per week. Be sure to setup your MindBody account prior to scheduling your first practice. Instructions can be found below.

In the event your practice field is closed due to bad weather, make-ups will not be provided.

Game Schedules

Game schedules are generally made available two or three weeks before the start of the regular season. You can view your team's schedule on the FBSA website and on your TeamSideline Team Site.

Games are generally only rescheduled due to weather related field closure. Please notify your League Director before the schedule is released of any potential conflicts, and we'll do our best to work around them.

Post season brackets will be released a week or two prior to the end of the regular season.

Scorekeeping & Reporting

The Home team is responsible for providing the official scorekeeper and entering the score and pitch counts into the FBSA website. After each game, the Home team coach will receive an email which includes a link to enter the score. This needs to be completed within 24 hours.

Coaches must enter both the Home and Away team scores, as well as pitch counts for each pitcher on both teams (for 9U and above Baseball). Pitch counts must include name and jersey number, and number of pitches for each pitcher. Failure to enter a pitch count within 24 hours may result in forfeiture of the next game for the Home team.

Scorekeepers are encouraged to use the free GameChanger app.

How To Input Scores

Equipment

FBSA will provide equipment to coaches before each season. This will generally be limited to catchers gear, and new teams will get priority. Additionally, all teams will receive a dozen game balls. Please take advantage of the 20% discount provided by Dick's Sporting Goods during the FBSA Exclusive Shopping Events to purchase any other equipment you may need.

Equipment may be picked up from the FBSA office during the designated hours. Details will be provided during the coaches meeting at the beginning of the season.

(Note: both Home and Away teams are responsible for providing two balls for each game)

Rosters

Single A Baseball and Rec Softball rosters are set by your League Director and finalized prior to the coaches meeting at the beginning of the season. When building rosters your LD will prioritize placing returning players on returning teams (same coach with at least 4 players returning from previous season), then will group players by school zone, and finally parent requests. While there is no guarantee, we do our best to accommodate all requests.

Double A Baseball and Competitive Softball rosters are established by the coach, and must be submitted by the communicated deadline. Proof of residency may be required and no more than three non-residents are allowed.

Volunteer Registration, Badges

All coaches and team parents must register with FBSA as a volunteer and complete a background check annually. You may complete your volunteer registration through the FBSA website during the registration period for each program. Additionally, coaches may go in person to the FBSA office to complete the background check.

All volunteers will receive a badge which must be warn during all games. Please go to the FBSA office to get your picture taken and get your badge prior to the start of the season.
